Evaluative Democracy-- Join the Grassroots movement

Participation in the grassroots movement

There are different ways one can participate in this movement:

1. Participate in the pilot study and mock election in your area (by either being on a Citizen Evaluation Committee, or voting in the mock election).

2. Help set up a pilot study and mock election in your area.

3. Don't vote in the current western political system. (By voting you are only legitimizing/consenting to that system.)

4. Encourage other people to participate in the Evaluative Democracy Movement. (The more people who participate in Evaluative Democracy over the current western political system, the more impetus there will be for change.)

5. Submit comments and suggestions for improving Evaluative Democracy.

6. Write articles on Evaluative Democracy.

7. Donate to the movement to support its spread. (Donations can be received through The Foundation for Democratic Political Change-- FDPC )

For those individuals who are interested in participating, please contact Evaluative Democracy.

Membership in the Evaluative Democracy Movement

The basic requirement for membership is belief in the cause of replacing the western political system defined by elections with a more democratic political system, and belief that Evaluative Democracy, at least the Independent form of it, is a more democratic political system.

Membership entails being trained in the implementation of Evaluative Democracy.

Members would be asked to help implement Evaluative Democracy, anywhere in the world. (Funding would be provided by the host country and The Foundation for Democratic Political Change.)

For those individuals interested in becoming a member of the Evaluative Democracy movement, send a resume and a letter explaining your interest to Evaluative Democracy, or PO Box 42, Kimberley, BC, Canada, V1A 2Y5
